How to Pick the Best Running Shoe

If you spend time staying fit, you know how important good shoes are. It’s almost impossible to know where to start with running shoes because there are thousands to choose from. It sure would be nice to buy a shoe that will last a few hundred miles of running, and doesn’t cost a fortune. Good running shoes do not need to be expensive. And it should fit nicely.

Name the thing that costs you most as a runner, and you’ll say it’s your shoes - like a kid with a http://www.razorkiddiekickscooter.com/. They help avoid injury and they help the running be more efficient. The running shoe market is huge and the better jogging shoe manufacturers put tons of money back into R&D of those feet protectors.

I think the best shoes are…… Brooks, ASICS and Nikes. I am happy with these brands I mention much like I am with my Razor A2 Scooter. Most of the Asics and Brooks you buy will have nice ankle support and it will be very cushioned. Now with Pumas dependant on the shoe, they probably won’t have the cushioned ankle support. The Puma though, is not heavy at all and comfy on your feet. Go with the Brooks or the ASICS and you won’t be sorry. This will give you a start but really you need to find what works for you.  Truthfully, I have yet to find a better shoe than Brooks or Asics. The only way you’re really going to find your shoe is to try on different brands and find first what fits best.

To get a good start into running, you must get a good shoe, as you now know, but stores now have ways to figure out what sort of runner you are. Make sure you get your arches checked at the store to get the best fit. This is how your foot type of determined like the Kiddie Kick Scooter. This measurement is very important to find the best running shoe.

You need to know what type of foot you have in order to choose a shoe that correctly supports your particular foot type. There are a few different running shoes: straight, curved, and semi-curved. To find out which type your foot is, take the wet test: put your foot in water and then stand up on any surface that will leave an imprint of your foot. Take a look at the imprint you left to see if you have a normal flat, or high arch.

Shoeless is the new fad in some running circles but not everyone is on board as of yet. This has runners shucking off their high-tech trainers in favor of naked feet — or minimalist footwear like Newton All-Weather Trainer, the Nike Free and the glove-like Vibram FiveFingers.

Do shoes really prevent injury?  Not so, say many that study whether shoes really do help or hurt the foot. Some smaller, earlier studies suggest that running in shoes may increase the risk of plantar fasciitis, ankle sprains and other injuries. One of the strangest facts is that cheap shoes actually cause more injuries than expensive ones.
