Easy Steps to Develop Triceps

There are many easy ways to develop your triceps. These methods are useful weather you are a dedicated body builder or you just want to tone up the flab on your arm. Each of these methods however requires a minimum amount of time and dedication from you. Make sure that you warm up first before starting any exercise. This involves stretching and warming up the muscles of your arms so that you can avoid all kinds of injuries that might occur otherwise. Also warming up is most essential before working out with the weights. Added to this after completing the exercise make sure that you warm down sufficiently also.

Use the over hand grip to hold the push down bar. Make sure that the bar is at the level of your chest. Start with lighter weights for the first few sets then progressively move forward with the weights with the increase in your sets. Make sure that you are not doing the exercise to fast. Doing the work out slowly will increase the effectively of the workout.

Hold the dumbbell in your palm with your wrist facing outwards. Stand in a straight position without bending or leaning to any side. Bring the weight up to your chest in a diagonal motion and then take it back down to your side. Repeat this exercise for about five sets each for both the hands. Make sure that you do not strain your self. If you are not able to complete five sets then start with lighter weights and gradually shift to heavier ones.

Face on the opposite side of a pull down machine. Raise your hands above your head and grab hold of the pull down bar. Make sure that you are holding the bar at equal distances. Put your right leg forward and bend your right knee while stretching out your left leg. Keep your back straight. Move your hand in forward motion pulling down the bar and then returning to its original position. Repeat this exercise for sets of four or six. This exercise helps in greatly increasing the strength of the triceps as well as the prominence.

The easiest exercise for the triceps that can be performed at home is by doing pull ups on a pull up bar having an over hand grip with the palms inside.
